Storage Charges
Introduction/Purpose
The Storage Charges master is a critical component for managing the costs associated with storing white products (oil) at various terminals. This module allows you to define specific storage rules by linking a product to a terminal and setting the applicable charges and free periods.
Properly configuring these rules is essential for accurately calculating storage costs, which can then be passed on to customers or recorded for internal accounting. The system uses these pre-defined rules to automatically calculate charges based on how long a product remains in storage.
