Bond Ledger
Introduction/Purpose
The Bond Ledger screen provides a centralized and comprehensive view of all goods held under customs bond, specifically for oil and other white products. It acts as a detailed register, allowing users to monitor the quantity, value, and current status of bonded inventory from the moment it enters the bond until it is fully cleared.
This module is essential for operations, finance, and compliance teams to manage customs liabilities, track inventory movements, and ensure accurate reporting for bonded goods.
Purpose & Key Features
The Bond Ledger enables users to:
- Monitor Bonded Inventory: Gain a clear overview of all products currently under bond, including their quantities and values.
- Track Status: Understand the current status of each bonded entry (Bonded, Partial, Cleared).
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain an accurate record of bonded movements, crucial for customs and regulatory audits.
- Financial Visibility: Access the bonded value associated with each entry for financial planning and reporting.
- Efficient Data Retrieval: Utilize search, filter, and export functionalities to manage large datasets.
How To Naviagte
- From the main dashboard, click the Menu icon in the top-right corner to open the main navigation panel.
- In the navigation panel, click on the Transactions module.
- Under the Bond & Entry Operations section, select Bond Ledger.
Listing
The data table presents the following columns, providing comprehensive details for each bonded entry:

- Entry No *: A unique alphanumeric identifier assigned to each bond entry. This field is typically a hyperlink, allowing users to drill down into the detailed view of a specific entry.
- Date: The date on which the bond entry was recorded in the system.
- Product: The specific product code or name of the commodity held under bond (e.g., MSP-A300201 for white product, AGO-A300301 for oil).
- UOM: The Unit of Measure for the product quantity (e.g., LT for Liters, MT for Metric Tons).
- Quantity: The initial or total quantity of the product placed under bond for that entry.
- Bonded Value: The monetary value associated with the
Quantityof the product under bond. - Balance: The remaining quantity of the product currently under bond for that specific entry. This value decreases as products are released or cleared from bond. A negative balance may indicate an over-release or adjustment, requiring further investigation.
- Status: Indicates the current state of the bond entry:
- Bonded: The full quantity of the product is currently under bond.
- Partial: A portion of the product has been released from bond, but some quantity still remains under bond.
- Cleared: The entire quantity of the product from this entry has been released or cleared from bond.
