Variable Earning Report

Introduction/Purpose: 

The Variable Earning Report module in HRMS (Human Resource Management System) provides a comprehensive overview of variable earnings for employees within an organization. The purpose of the Variable Earning Report module is to facilitate the analysis and tracking of variable earnings components for employees. 

Dependency on Variable Earning Report:

  • Employee Data: The module relies on accurate and up-to-date employee data stored in the HRMS system. This includes information such as employee names, departments, designations, work locations, and employment status. The availability and accuracy of this data are crucial for generating an informative and reliable Variable Earning Report.
  • Compensation and Payroll Data: The module depends on the compensation and payroll data recorded in the HRMS system. This includes details of variable earnings components such as travel allowances, bonuses, commissions, and other incentives. The accurate recording and tracking of these data elements are essential for the Variable Earning Report to provide an accurate representation of the variable earnings across the organization.
  • Configuration and Customization: The Variable Earning Report module relies on proper configuration and customization within the HRMS system. This includes setting up the relevant parameters, such as financial year, pay periods, employee types, departments, designations, and other criteria, to filter and generate specific reports.

How To Navigate: 

The navigation to a Variable Earning Report in a HRMS typically involves the following steps:

  • Click on the main navigation icon: The main navigation icon located in the top  right corner of the screen. Clicking on this icon will open the navigation menu, which typically includes links to various sections of the HRMS system.
  • Click on the Report section: The Variable Earning Report is located under the Employee Payrolls Reports section. By clicking on the variable earning report will display an employee name, department, designation, location name, pay period, payment mode and amount.

Listing: 

  • Filter : User can filter the data based on the following categories:
  • Financial Year*
  • Select Pay Period*
  • Component*
  • Employee Type
  • Department
  • Designation
  • Job Status
  • Grade
  • Group
  • Work Location
  • Payment Band
  • Salary Structrue

Note: “*” represents the mandatory fields to be entered by the user to display the reports.

The user can perform the following actions in this section:

  • Submit : The user can use the filter option by using the submit button.

By Clicking on the Actions button, the user can perform the following actions:

  • Refresh: The Refresh feature allows users to update or reload the content of an application, and the system updates the latest data set to display the most current information.
  • Export: The Export feature enables users to extract data from a system and save it in Excel format.
  • Send Mail: The Send Mail feature allows users to compose and send emails directly from an application or platform in Excel, PDF, or both formats.
