Introduction/Purpose

The primary objective of this module is to empower the administrator to oversee dealer products, which encompass items that dealers will offer for sale at their respective stations. These products can be introduced into the system either by the administrator or by dealers through their dedicated panel. When dealers propose products via their panel, a formal approval process will be initiated, prompting the administrator to review and decide whether to accept or reject these submissions. In this module we would be showcasing the dealer products management from the Admin side.

Dependencies

1. System Performance: System should respond properly to save the dealer products details in DB.
2. Databases: The dealer products data depends on the accurate data in the mentioned databases, like Company & Station/Shop.

Dealer Product List

All the added dealer products or the added requests of dealer products will be displayed at the dealer products list screen.

To view the dealer product list, there are two ways as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “Dealer Products” from the menu under the “Requests & Approvals” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “Dealer Products” from the site map under the “Requests & Approvals” module as shown below.

Add A Dealer Product

To add dealer products, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the dealer product list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Dealer Product List”.

Step 2: Click on  “Add New” from the list page, as shown below.

Step 3: Search and select a company name, enter data for all other mandatory fields. Click on the “Save” button to save the dealer product, as shown below.  

Dealer Product Details

To view the details of the dealer products, follow below steps.

Step 1: To open the dealer product list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Change Request List”. 

Step 2: Click on  “Product Name” from the list, as shown below.

Available Actions To Manage Dealer Products

Users can update products, update available quantity, update price and can mark products as generic products. 

To perform the mentioned actions on dealer products, follow below steps.

Step 1: To open the dealer product list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Change Request List”.

Step 2: Click on “Actions”  to get the available actions for the dealer products, as shown in the screenshot.

UPDATE

1. To update click on “Edit”  from Actions, as shown below.

2. Change the required details. Click the “Update” button to save the updates, as shown below.

UPDATE AVAILABLE QUANTITY

1. To update click on “Update Available Qty”  from Actions, as shown below.

2. Enter the actual available quantity. Click the “Submit” button to save the updated quantity, as shown below.

UPDATE PRICE

1. To update click on “Update Price”  from Actions, as shown below.

2. Enter the new selling price. Click on the “Save” button to save the updated selling price.

MARK AS GENERIC

1. To update click on “Mark As Generic”  from Actions, as shown below.

2. Enter remarks and click on the “Submit” button to confirm the product as a generic product.

Form Fields for Dealer Product

Fields available in the Add/Edit Dealer Product Form when product association is “Generic Product”

• Company Name (Required): Enter the Name of the company. On entering the name of the company, suggestion box will appear which consist of name of the company.

• Product Name (Required): Enter the Name of the product. On entering the name of the company, suggestion box will appear which consist of all the previously added products. Admin need to select the product from the auto-suggestion box

• Product Barcode (Required): It will be automatically fetched from the selected product’s data.
• Price (Required): Enter the price of the product

• Product Categories: It will be automatically fetched from the selected product’s data.
• Description: It will be automatically fetched from the selected product’s data.
• Specifications: It will be automatically fetched from the selected product’s data.
• Products Images: It will be automatically fetched from the selected product’s data.
• Status (Required): Admin can set the status of the dealer product as “Active” or “inactive”.
