Introduction/Purpose

The primary purpose of the “Zones” module is to empower stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to effectively define, manage, and monitor distinct geographical zones or operational areas. This specialized module is designed to facilitate efficient management, organization, and oversight of geographical zones and operational areas within the oil and gas industry. By providing a structured framework, real-time data, and streamlined communication, the “Zones” module aims to enhance the coordination, decision-making, and resource allocation across different zones to optimize operations and maximize productivity.

Dependencies

System Performance: System should respond properly to save the zones in the DB.

Zone List

There are two ways to open the list of zones, as mentioned and shown below.

  1. Click on the “Zones” under the “Masters” menu as shown below.
  1. Click on the “Zones” from the site map under the “Masters” module as shown below.

Add  A Zone

To add a new zone, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the zone list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Zone List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Add New” button as shown below.

Step 3: Fill all the mandatory fields (marked with *) in the “Add Zone Form”, as described and shown below.

Step 4: Click the “Save” button to save the zone.

Zone Details

To View the details of a zone, follow below steps.

Step 1: To open the zone list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Zone List”.

Step 2: Click on a “Zone Name” from the zone list to view the details of the zone, as shown below.

Update A Zone

To update zone details follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the zone list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Zone List”.

Step 2: Click on a “Zone Name” from the zone list.

Step 3: Update the details that are auto-populated in the fields, as shown below.

Step 4: Click on the “Update” button to update the zone, as shown below.
