Introduction / Purpose

The admin has the capability to supervise the generators at C&I sites. Admin is empowered to add new generators to C&I sites and have the authority to make adjustments to the existing generators within the system.

Dependencies

System Performance Requirement: The system is anticipated to demonstrate robust responsiveness when storing C&I site generators in the database, and it should efficiently retrieve the archived data of C&I generators when required for utilization in other modules.

C&I Site Generators List

There are two ways to open the list of all the added generators of the C&I sites, as mentioned and shown below.

1. Click on the “C&I Site Generators” under the “Masters” menu as shown below.

2. Click on the “C&I Site Generators” from the site map under the “Masters” module as shown below.

Add C&I Site Generators

To add a new C&I site generator into the system, follow below steps.

Step 1: To open the C&I Site Generators List page, follow the steps mentioned in the section “C&I Site Generators List”.

Step 2: Click on a “+ Add New” from the site generators list page, as shown below.

Step 3: Enter the following details in the add C&I site generator form, as mentioned and shown below.

1. Company Name: Search & select a C&I company. (Company will be available only if there is at least one C&I company already added to the system)
2. Site: Search & select a site of the selected company. (Site will be available only if there is at least one site already added on behalf of the company in the system)
3. Generator Name: Enter the name of generator
4. Generator Code: Enter the code of generator
5. Serial Number: Enter the serial number.
6. Make: Enter the making company of the generator
7. Model: Enter the model of generator
8. Product: Search & select a product for the generator
9. Opening Hr. Reading: Enter the opening hr. reading
10. Consumption Rate(Ltrs/hr): Enter the consumption rate per hours
11. Attachments: Drag-drop or upload document
12. Status: Select a status for the generator

Step 4: Click on the “Save” button to save.

C&I Site Generators Details

To View the details of C&I site generators, follow below steps.

Step 1: To open the site generator list page, follow the steps mentioned in the section “C&I Site Generators List”.

Step 2: Click on a “Generator Name” from the C&I site generator list to view the details of the generator, as shown below.

Update C&I Site Generators

To update a generator, follow the below steps. 

Step 1: To open the update generator form, there are two ways as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “Edit” button from the generator details page, as shown below.

2. Click on the “Edit” option from the “Actions” dropdown in the list page, as shown below.

Step 2:  All the following details of the generator will be auto-populated in the form. Update the mentioned details as required. Click on the “update” button to save the update.

Actions on C&I Site Generators

Users have the option to execute the following actions using the “Actions” dropdown for each generator record on the C&I site generator list page, as shown and explained below.

Edit: To update the existing generator details

Reset Closing Reading:  To update closing hr. reading

Add Usage: To add usages of generator
