Introduction/Purpose
An essential part of this oil-gas management system is the “Airports” module. Designed to cater to the intricate requirements of the aviation sector within the oil and gas industry, this specialized module focuses on optimizing the management, coordination, and oversight of fuel operations and services at airports. By providing advanced tools, real-time data, and seamless communication, the “Airports” module aims to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of aviation fuel provisioning and distribution within airport facilities.
Dependencies
System Performance: System should respond properly to save the airport details in DB and system should be able to provide airport data whenever required for other modules.
Airport List
There are two ways to open the list of airports, as mentioned and shown below.
- Click on the “Airports” under the “Masters” menu as shown below.
- Click on the “Airports” from the site map under the “Masters” module as shown below.
Add An Airport
To add an airport, follow the below steps.
Step 1: To open the Airport List screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Airport List”.
Step 2: Click on the “Add New” button as shown below.
Step 3: Enter the following details of the airport in the “Add Airport Form”.
- Location Name
- Address
- City
- Operated By – Search & Select Operator Company
- Location Owner – Search & Select Owner Company
- Latitude
- Longitude
- Allow Fuel Serving
- Airport Code
- ICAO Code
- IATA Code
Step 4: Click the “Save” button to save the airport.
Airport Details
To View the details of an airport, follow below steps.
Step 1: To open the Airport List screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Airport List”.
Step 2: Click on a “Location Name” from the airport list to view the details of the airport, as shown below.
Update An Airport
To update an airport, follow the below steps.
Step 1: To open the airport details page, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Airport Details”.
Step 2: Click on the “Edit” button under the “Other Actions”, as shown below.
Step 3: Update the required details from the below mentioned details.
- Location Name
- Address
- Latitude
- City
- Longitude
- Allow Fuel Serving
- Airport Code
- ICAO Code
- IATA Code
Step 4: Click on the “Update” button to update the airport, as shown below.
