Introduction/Purpose
The Retail portion of the Sales Portal Dashboard gives a brief yet comprehensive overview of critical statistics and key performance indicators (KPIs) in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. The “Retail” Portion of the Sales Portal Dashboard serves as an important hub for managing retail activities in the oil and gas industry.
The purpose of this section is to Monitor sales performance daily, monthly, and cumulatively. Users can efficiently manage inventory, reduce stock-related issues, Gain insights into retail station/shop performance, Analyze product sales for optimization, Enhance customer relations through data-driven strategies, React swiftly to market dynamics with current sales data, Identify and replicate successful retail strategies.

Method 1: Click On Dashboard From Hamburger Menu to open dashboard page & click on “Retail” from the Dashboard Page to open the KPI for Retail as shown below.

Daily Sales Summary:
The “Daily Sales Summary” on the Sales Portal dashboard’s Retail section provides an overview of daily sales activities. It contains total sales as well as sales by product category, such as PMO, AGO, Lubes, and other providers. These sales are displayed in a bar graph format, with daily sales amounts and quantities for each product category. This feature allows customers to track and analyze daily sales performance for various products.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Daily Sales Summary will be updated.
Monthly Sales:
The “Monthly Sales” section in the Retail section of the Sales Portal dashboard provides an overview of monthly sales activities. It includes the total sales amount for the month and presents a line graph illustrating sales performance percentages.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Monthly Sales will be updated.
- Users can interact with this section by clicking on the total sales amount, which then reveals a detailed table.
- This table contains specific information such as Transaction Code, Station/Shops, Transaction Type, Amount, Quantity (QTY), and Sales Date. It offers a comprehensive view of monthly sales data, facilitating detailed analysis and reporting.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.
Total Sales:
The “Total Sales” section in the Retail section of the Sales Portal dashboard provides an overview of yearly sales activities. It includes the total sales amount for the year and presents a line graph illustrating sales performance percentages.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Total Sales will be updated.
- Users can interact with this section by clicking on the total sales amount, which then reveals a detailed table.
- This table contains specific information such as Transaction Code, Station/Shops, Transaction Type, Amount, Quantity (QTY), and Sales Date. It offers a comprehensive view of yearly sales data, facilitating detailed analysis and reporting.

Retail Stations / Shops:
The “Retail Stations / Shops” section in the Retail section of the Sales Portal dashboard provides an overview of the total number of active retail stations and shops.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Retail Stations / Shops will be updated.
- Users can interact with this section by clicking on the number of active retail stations/shops.
- Upon clicking, the system displays a detailed table with columns such as Name, Display Name, Operated Company, Site Type, Business Consultant, Business Consultant Phone Number, Performed By, and Performed On.
- This table offers comprehensive information about each active retail station/shop, aiding in management and monitoring.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.
Overall Stock:
The “Overall Stock” area of the Sales Portal dashboard’s Retail section provides an overview of total stock levels, displaying the total amount of product on hand.
- This section also includes a pie chart for visual representation. This pie chart divides the whole stock into numerous groups, such as Fuel, Lubricants (Lubes), and Other Suppliers.
- Each category is represented by a pie slice, with the number and amount of stock for each product type shown. This graphic representation allows users to easily understand the stock distribution across different product categories.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Overall Stock will be updated.
Stock By Products Summary:
The “Stock By Products Summary” section in the Retail section of the Sales Portal dashboard provides detailed information about individual products, including their respective quantities and amounts. This section covers various product categories such as PMS (Premium Motor Spirit), AGO (Automotive Gas Oil), Lubricants (Lubes), and Other Suppliers.
- In addition to numerical data, this section uses half-circle graphs to visually represent the stock levels of these individual products.

Overall Retail Station / Shop Sales:
The “Overall Retail Station / Shop Sales” section in the Retail section of the Sales Portal dashboard presents an overview of total sales figures for retail stations and shops. It displays the total amount of sales generated by all retail stations and shops.
- The section provides details on the quantities and amounts of specific products such as PMS, AGO, Lubricants (Lubes), and Other Suppliers.
- A line graph depicts the sales performance over time, showing sales trends from January to the current month. This graphical representation allows users to visualize the sales data and identify patterns or trends.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Overall Retail Station / Shop Sales will be updated.
Top 10 Retail Station / Shop – Product Sales Summary:
The “Top 10 Retail Station/Shop – Product Sales Summary” in Retail section in the Sales portal dashboard provides an overview of sales data for retail stations and shops. It displays the total sales amount and further breaks down sales amounts for various products, including PMS, Lubes, Other Suppliers, and AGO, at different stations (terminals) using line graphs.
- Users have the flexibility to select a specific terminal or station from the line graph list. Upon selection, they can view detailed sales data for that station, categorized by product type (PMS, Lubes, Other Suppliers, AGO) in a bar graph format.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Top 10 Retail Station/Shop – Product Sales Summary will be updated.
Updates:
The “Updates” section in the Retail dashboard of the sales portal displays real-time information about various aspects of retail stations. It provides data on the number of tanks and the quantity of products in those tanks, the count of attendants at pumps, the total number of pumps, the evaluation reports, and the station manager’s information.
- This section serves as a live feed of critical data related to retail station operations, ensuring that users have up-to-date information at their fingertips.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Updates will be updated.
Over All Stock Summary By Retail Stations / Shops:
The “Overall Stock Summary By Retail Stations / Shops” section in the Retail dashboard of the sales portal provides an overview of stock levels at different retail stations and shops. It displays the total stock amounts across all stations and shops.
This section also includes a line graph representation that illustrates the stock levels at various stations and shops. Users can select a specific station or shop from the list, and upon selection, they can view the quantities of retail stocks for different product types like PMS, Lubes, AGO and other suppliers in a pie chart format.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Overall Stock Summary By Retail Stations / Shops will be updated.
Stations / Shop Products Stock:
The “Stations/Shop Products Stock” section in the Retail dashboard of the sales portal displays the amount of stock for retail stations and shops. It provides insights into the quantities of various products available at different stations and shops.
- This section uses a visual representation in the form of Venn diagrams to illustrate the distribution of products. Each product type, such as fuel or lubes, is represented by a separate Venn diagram. Within these diagrams, the overlapping circles represent the presence of the product in different stations.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Stations/Shop Products Stock will be updated.
- For example, the fuel Venn diagram shows how fuel stock is distributed among various stations, while the lubes Venn diagram depicts the distribution of lubricant products across different stations.
- Users can interact with the system by clicking on any station for a specific product. This action will trigger the display of Stocks data in a tabular format, including columns for Product Name, Product Short Name, Available Quantity, Cost Price, Selling Price, and Margin (Amount).
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire data will be updated.
Top Lubricant Product Sales:
The “Top Lubricant Product Sales” section in the Retail section of the sales portal dashboard presents a tabular overview of lubricant product sales data. It includes specific columns such as Product Name, Quantity of Sales, and Amount. At the bottom of the table, the section provides a total sum of the values within the table.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.
- Users can utilize the search box to easily find specific content within the table, enhancing data accessibility.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Top Lubricant Product Sales will be updated.
Top Other Product Sales:
The “Top Other Product Sales” section in the Retail section of the sales portal dashboard presents a tabular overview of sales data for other products. It includes specific columns such as Product Name, Quantity of Sales, and Amount. At the bottom of the table, the section provides a total sum of the values within the table.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.

Customers:
The “Customers” section in the Retail section of the sales portal dashboard provides a visual representation of the total number of active customers (active users) in a bar graph format. This graph helps users quickly assess and monitor the number of active customers, offering insights into customer engagement and interaction with the platform.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Customers will be updated.
Current Period Sales:
The “Current Period Sales” section in the Retail section of the sales portal dashboard provides a summary of the total sales amount along with the number of retail stations and retailers. This information is displayed using a map representation, allowing users to visualize the distribution of retail stations and retailers in a geographical context.
- The section displays statistical data about the number of retail stations and retailers in different locations, offering insights into the regional presence and performance of the retail network.
- Users will be able to use the refresh icon. When users click the refresh icon, the entire Current Period Sales will be updated.
Top Retail Stations / Shops:
The “Top Retail Stations / Shops” section in the Retail section of the sales portal dashboard presents data in a tabular format, featuring specific columns such as Station Name and Amount. This section displays the amounts associated with particular retail stations or shops, allowing users to quickly identify and assess the top-performing locations. At the bottom of the table, the section provides a total sum of all the values within the table, offering an overview of the total sales performance of these stations or shops.
- When a user clicks the Export icon, a popup will appear, prompting the user to select between PDF, CSV. Upon choosing any of these options, the user will get the downloaded file.
