Introduction/Purpose

SMS will be sent from the system for various events that occur such as sending OTP when the user forgets the password. These SMS will have specific content that needs to be editable. Admin will be provided with SMS templates so that the content of the SMS can be edited.

Dependencies

• System Performance & Database: The system should respond properly to save the sms template into the database. The database should be capable of ensuring the availability of template data properly.

SMS Templates List

All the added SMS templates will be displayed at the sms templates list screen.

To view the list of sms templates, there are two ways as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “SMS Templates” from the menu under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “SMS Templates” from the site map under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

SMS Template Details

To view the sms template details , follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the sms templates list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “SMS Templates List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Title” from the list, as shown below.

Update SMS Template

To update a sms template , follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the sms templates list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “SMS Templates List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Title” from the list, as shown below.

Step 3: All the fields will be auto-populated. Update sms template as needed. Click the “Update” button to save the update, as shown below.

**Fields In The Form

• Title Required (Required): Admin can enter the title of SMS template
• Code (Required): The code of the template will be predefined and not be editable
• Template (Required): Admin need to enter the text that will be send to customer when any request is send to the system to pass the information to the customer.
• Language: Admin can send in which language the SMS will be sent to the customer.
• Status (Required): Admin can change the status of the SMS as “Active” and “In-active”. If the template is In-active, SMS template will not be used while sending the SMS. If the template is “Active”, template will be active to send SMS.
• SMS Variables: SMS variables can be used in the SMS templates for send a variable data such as OTP. These variables will be predefined and cannot be changed by the Admin.
