Introduction / Purpose

There are various packaging items that can be reused after the products from the packaging items are utilized. These packaging items can be bought back by the companies from the Dealers. Therefore, for buying back the packaging items from the Dealers the companies can set the Buyback Rewards. So when the Dealer provides the packaging items back to the company they will be rewarded with Reward Points. The points will be rewarded on the basis of the weight of the specific packaging items that are set in this module. The rewarded points can be used by the Dealer for purchasing more products from the company. So, it becomes profitable for both Dealers and the company in terms of reusability of the packaging units and reward points for purchasing products. Expiry days for reward points also need to be set so that points need to utilize before the expiry date.

Dependencies

1. System Performance: The system should respond properly to save the packaging buyback reward setting into the database.
2. Packaging Material DB: Users must have added packaging materials into the system. To create a packaging buyback reward, the user assigns a packaging material.

Packaging Buyback Reward List

All the added packaging buyback reward settings will be displayed at the packaging buyback reward list screen.

To view the  list, there are two ways as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “Packaging Buyback Reward List” from the menu under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “Packaging Buyback Reward List” from the site map under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

Add A Packaging Buyback Reward 

To configure a packaging buyback reward , follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the packaging buyback reward list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Packaging Buyback Reward List”.

Step 2: Click on the “+ Add New” button as shown below.

Step 3: Enter the mandatory details in the add form, as mentioned and  shown below. 

1. Weight: Admin needs to enter the Weight of the packaging items for which the reward points are applicable. On returning back the specified weight of the packaging item, the Dealer will be rewarded with the points.
2. Packaging Material: Search and select the packaging material.
3. Reward Points: Admin can enter the reward points that will be rewarded to the Dealers when they will be returning back the packaging items to the company fulfilling the criteria of weight as mentioned in the entry. Admin will be provided with the text to enter the rewarded points.
4. Reward Points Expire In(Days): The reward points will be expired after a specific time after reward is earned. Admin will be able to add the Reward Points Expiry days that indicates that the reward points will expire after xx days for rewarding.

Step 4: Click the “Save” button to save.

Packaging Buyback Reward Details  & Update

To view details and update the buyback reward rule , follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the packaging buyback reward list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Packaging Buyback Reward List”.

Step 2: To redirect to the reward rule details page, click on the “Weight” from the reward rule list, as shown below.

Step 3: Click on the “Edit” button to update the reward rule, as shown below.

Step 4: Update Weight, Packaging Material, Reward Points and Reward Points Expire In(Days) as required. Click the “Update” button to save the update, as shown below.
