Introduction/Purpose

The Order Quantity Settings module enables the administrator to manage the minimum and maximum quantities of products that can be ordered by specific companies. While ordering the product, if the product quantity goes above the maximum quantity or goes below the minimum quantity, the system won’t allow the user to order. The minimum quantity can be company-specific as well, i.e., the minimum quantity and maximum quantity of the product order can be set for specific companies so that those companies are restricted to the range of order quantities.

Dependencies

1. Database: A robust and secure database is essential to store and manage the order quantity settings. The database should be capable of handling the configuration data and ensuring data availability at the time of creating orders.
2. Companies: Users must have added buyer companies into the system. To configure quantity of buyer companies, the user assigns a buyer company from the added companies in the DB.
3. Company Product: Users must have added company products to the system. To configure order quantity, the user selects a product for which the minimum and maximum quantities of order will be defined.

Order Quantity Settings List

There are two ways to open the list of Order Quantity Setting, as mentioned and shown below.

1. Click on the “Order Quantity Settings” under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “Order Quantity Settings” from the site map under the “Configurations” module as shown below.

Add New Order Quantity Settings

To add a new Order Quantity Setting, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the Order Quantity Settings List screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Order Quantity Settings List”.

Step 2: Click on the “+ Add Order Quantity Setting” button as shown below.

Step 3: Fill all the mandatory fields (marked with *) in the “Add Order Quantity Settings Form”, as described and shown below.

1. Buyer Company – Search for and select an external buyer company.
2. Company Product – Select a product 
3. Min Quantity 
4. Max Quantity 

Step 4: Click the “Save” button to save new Order Quantity Settings.

Update Existing Order Quantity Settings

To update an existing Order Quantity Settings, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the Order Quantity Settings List screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Order Quantity Settings List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Company Name” of the records from the list, as shown below.

Step 3: Update all the mandatory fields, click on the “Update” button to update the setting.
