Login As Volunteer
This guide explains the step-by-step process for registering as a Volunteer in the SOS Mobile application. Each screen and field is described to ensure a smooth registration experience. The SOS mobile app enables individuals to register as volunteers for emergency assistance.
Select Role
- Users must choose between registering as a Citizen or a Volunteer.
- Select the Volunteer option (highlighted with a checkmark).
- Tap Volunteer → Proceed by clicking the Next (→) button.
My Profile
- Phone No: Primary contact number (e.g.,
+234 706 282 6548). Required for account verification and communication. - Your Full Name: Description: Legal name (e.g., “Maureen Denver Smith”). Used for official records and identification.
- Gender: Options: Male/Female. Collects demographic data for volunteer matching.
- Date of Birth: Description: Age verification via date picker. Required to confirm eligibility (e.g., minimum age for volunteering).
- Next Button: Advances to the “Other Details” tab.
Other Details
- Blood Group: Dropdown to select blood type (e.g., A+, B-, O+). Critical for medical emergency responses.
- Location: Street address (e.g., “123 Main St”). Helps locate volunteers during incidents.
- Area : Dropdown to select your neighborhood/area. Ensures proximity to emergency sites for rapid response.
- Nearby Police Station: Dropdown to choose the closest police station. Facilitates coordination with law enforcement.
- Circle Type: Dropdown for community circle type (e.g., “Neighborhood Watch,” “Medical Response”). Defines volunteer role/specialization.
- ID Proof: Dropdown to select identification document (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport). Optional for additional verification.
