Purpose

In our system, the Zone Master is an integral feature designed to streamline warehouse operations and enhance inventory management. It allows users to define and categorize different geographic zones within the warehouse, optimizing the storage and retrieval of items. By assigning products to specific zones, the system ensures better organization, quicker access, and more accurate inventory tracking.

This functionality supports efficient sales, logistics, and inventory control processes, as it improves the flow of goods within the warehouse. The Zone Master also enables more effective stock management, reduces retrieval times, and enhances operational efficiency, ensuring that inventory is always available when needed. This makes it a crucial tool for optimizing warehouse and logistics management in our system.

Navigation Path

Masters > Master > Zone Master

To access and manage the Zone Master module within the system, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Main Menu:
   Click on the main navigation icon in the top-right corner of the screen to access the system’s menu.
2. Select ‘Masters’:
   From the menu, select the “Masters” section.
3. Open ‘Master’:
   In the Masters section, click on “Master” to view various master data options.
4. Click on ‘Zone Master’:
   Within the Master module, select “Zone Master” to manage warehouse zones. This will take you to the page where you can add, update, or view the different geographic zones defined within the warehouse for optimized inventory management.

Listing 

In the Zone Master listing page, users can view a list of all the zones that have been added in the system. The following details are available for each zone:

• Zone Name: The name of the zone used to identify it within the warehouse.
• Zone Code: A unique identifier for the zone.
• Status: The current status of the zone (e.g., Active, Inactive).

Delivery Term Details

Users have the option to view detailed information about each zone.

Clicking on the more details option will view the details of the Zone Which will include the summary.

• View Summary: By clicking on the Zone in the listing, the user will be navigated to the summary page.
  • This data is fetched from the inventory.
