Induction Program Management

Introduction/Purpose:

The Induction Program Management in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is designed to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees by systematically organizing and managing the induction programs. This module provides HR personnel with the tools to create, manage, and track the progress of employee induction programs, ensuring all new hires go through the required orientation and training efficiently.

The purpose of this module is to streamline the induction process, ensuring new employees are introduced to the organization’s culture, policies, and their respective roles, facilitating quicker integration into their work environment.

How To Navigate:

To access Induction program management in the HRMS system, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the main navigation icon: The main navigation icon may be located in the top right corner of the screen. Clicking on this icon will open the navigation menu, which typically includes links to various sections of the HR Management System (HRMS).
  2. Click on the HR Operations section: The HR Operations section is located in the left-hand menu. Clicking on this section will display a list of HR-related operations and management features.
  3. Find the Induction section: The Induction section is located within the HR Operations menu. Clicking on this section will display a list of induction-related tasks and management options.
  4. Click on the Induction Program Management link: The Induction Program Management link is found under the Induction section. Clicking this link will navigate you to the Induction Program Management listing page, where you can view, manage, and track the status of employee induction programs.

Listing: 

The Induction Program Management page offers an organized view of all available induction programs, providing the following key components for easy tracking and management:

  • Code:Displays the unique code associated with each induction program. This serves as a reference identifier for easy tracking and searching.
  • Title:Shows the name or title of the induction program, which allows users to quickly identify the specific program.
  • Total Employee: Indicates the total number of employees involved in the induction program, showing both enrolled and completed employees (e.g., 0/2). This helps in tracking participation.
  • Stages Count: Represents the number of stages in the program, helping to understand the program’s structure and how many steps are involved in the induction process.
  • Created Company: Displays the name of the company associated with the induction program, providing context about the company responsible for the program.
  • Culminate: A flag that shows whether the induction program has been culminated or is still ongoing. This helps track whether the program has ended or is still active.
  • Status: Reflects the current status of the induction program, such as “Active” or “Inactive,” indicating whether the program is open or closed for new participants.
  • Approval Status: Indicates whether the induction program has been approved or is pending approval. This is critical for understanding whether the program is ready for use or still under review.
  • Action: Provides available actions for the induction program, such as editing, deleting, or viewing details. These actions enable users to manage and update the programs efficiently.

Recording & Update: 

When adding a new induction program, the following fields must be completed:

  • Title: Enter the title of the induction program, which will clearly identify the program.
  • Cumulative Assessment (Yes/No): Select whether the program includes cumulative assessment.
    • Yes: The program includes cumulative assessment.
    • No: The program does not include cumulative assessment.
  • Status: Select the status of the program (e.g., Active, Inactive, or any other relevant status).
  • Description: Provide a detailed description of the induction program, outlining its objectives and structure.

Actions: 

User can perform the following actions in the add new page 

  • Submit: Once all required information is entered, click Submit to save and approve the new induction program.
  • Discard: If you wish to cancel creating the program, click Discard to remove all entered information and exit.

This process helps administrators efficiently create and manage induction programs, ensuring all necessary details are provided for proper tracking and execution.
