Employee Asset List
Introduction/Purpose:
The Employee Asset List module in HRMS (Human Resource Management System) serves as a comprehensive record-keeping tool that tracks and manages the assets assigned to employees within an organization. It allows HR departments to efficiently monitor and maintain a detailed inventory of both virtual and physical assets provided to employees.
The purpose of this module is to streamline the asset management process by centralizing all relevant information in one place. It enables HR personnel to easily identify which assets are assigned to specific employees, along with their respective serial numbers, SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), and other relevant details.
Dependency:
- Employee Information: The module requires up-to-date and accurate employee data, including employee names, codes, statuses, types, departments, and designations. Without this information, it would be challenging to associate assets with specific employees and track their assignments properly.
- Assets Data: The module depends on a comprehensive and well-maintained asset database. This includes asset names, serial numbers, SKUs, types (physical or virtual), and assigned statuses. Without accurate asset information, the module would not be able to track and manage assets effectively.
- Assign Status and Return Status: The module relies on the assigned status and return status data to track the lifecycle of asset assignments. The assigned status indicates whether an asset has been assigned or not, while the return status indicates whether an asset has been returned or if there are pending return requests.

The navigation to a employee asset list in a HRMS typically involves the following steps:
