Location Type

Introduction/Purpose

The Location Type Submodule is used to define standardized categories for classifying different types of locations in the system. It helps in organizing assets based on the nature or function of each location—such as warehouses, branches, service centers, etc. These types are used while creating or managing location records under the Location Maste

How To Navigate

Click the menu button in the top-left corner, then select the Master. Under it, choose the ‘Location Type’ sub-module to view a list of all previously added location type.

How To Add Location Type

Click the ‘Add’ button in the header section to open the Location type form. Fill in the following details to save the location type.

  • Location Type: The name of the location category (e.g., Warehouse, Store, Office).
  • Status: Indicates whether the location type is Active or Inactive in the system.
  • Location Code: A unique identifier or short code assigned to the location type.
  • Next: Allows the user to navigate the next page upon submission of the record
  • List: Allows the user to navigate the employee list upon submission of the record
  • Stay: Allows the user to navigate the stay on the same record upon submission of the record
  • Submit: This option allows the user to submit the employee record.
  • Discard: This option allows the user to discard the transaction, which will remove all changes done (if any) in the module.
