Insurance Type

Introduction/Purpose

The Insurance Type Submodule is used to define and manage various categories of insurance policies associated with organizational assets. It allows configuration of insurance types based on coverage scope, policy terms, and duration. This helps in ensuring assets are properly insured, reducing risk, and tracking renewal timelines efficiently.

How To Navigate

Click the menu button in the top-left corner, then select the Insurance module. Under it, choose the ‘Insurance Type’ sub-module to view a list of all previously added insurance type.

How To Add

Click the ‘Add’ button in the header section to open the Insurance Type form. Fill in the following details to save the Insurance Type

  • Company: The organization to which the insurance type is linked.
  • Insurance Type: Name Name of the insurance policy or category (e.g., Equipment Coverage, Theft).
  • Coverage Scope: Specifies what the insurance covers (e.g., Fire, Damage, Theft).
  • Policy Term: Defines the duration or type of policy period (e.g., Annual, Bi-Annual).
  • Status: Shows whether the insurance type is currently Active or Inactive.
  • Description: Additional information or notes about the insurance type.
  • Submit: This option allows the user to submit the employee record.
  • Discard: This option allows the user to discard the transaction, which will remove all changes done (if any) in the module.
