Asset Maintenance Type

Introduction/Purpose

The Maintenance Type Submodule is designed to define and categorize various types of maintenance activities performed on assets. These predefined activity types help standardize maintenance scheduling, tracking, and reporting—ensuring assets are maintained efficiently and consistently across the organization.

How To Navigate

Click the menu button in the top-left corner, then select the Master module. Under it, choose the ‘Asset Maintenance Type ‘ sub-module to view a list of all previously added Asset Maintenance Type

How To Add Asset Maintenance Type

Click the ‘Add’ button in the header section to open the Asset Maintenance Type form. Fill in the following details to save the Asset Maintenance Type

  • Activity Name: The name or title of the maintenance activity (e.g., Preventive Check, Oil Change).
  • Activity Code: A unique code used to identify and reference the maintenance activity.
  • Status: Indicates whether the activity type is Active or Inactive in the system.
  • Remarks: Additional notes or internal comments about the maintenance type.
  • Submit: This option allows the user to submit the employee record.
  • Discard: This option allows the user to discard the transaction, which will remove all changes done (if any) in the module.
