Introduction/Purpose

The main purpose of this module is to enable the administrator to manage the Trucks that used by the company for the purpose of logistics. Admin will be able to Add, Edit, and Activate/Deactivate Trucks from this module.

Dependencies

1. System Performance: System should respond properly to save the truck details in DB.
2. Company : Users must have added companies into the system. To add truck the user assigns a owner company for the truck from the added companies.
3. Make: Users must have added maker companies into the system. To create a truck, the user assigns a maker company of the truck from the added makers in the DB.

Truck List

All the in trucks will be displayed on the trucks list screen.

There are two ways to view the “ Trucks” list with the information of truck image, truck reg no, carrier, total capacity, total compartments, GPS tracking, ex tank loading and so on as mentioned below.

• Click on the “Trucks” under the “Logistics” module on mouse hover.

• Click on the “Trucks” from the site map under the “Logistics” module as shown below.

Change The View Of Trucks

To change the view option of the trucks list , follow the mentioned steps.

Step 1: To view the Trucks list, follow the steps mentioned in the  section “Trucks List”.

Step 2: Click on “Change View” as shown below.

Step 3: Change the view option by clicking on any available options, as shown below.

Add New Trucks

To add trucks, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the Trucks list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Trucks List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Add New” button as shown below.

Step 3: Fill all the mandatory fields (marked with *) in the “Add Trucks Form” as described and shown below.

Step 4: Click on “Save” to save the trucks, as shown below.

Trucks Details

To view the details of trucks, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the Trucks list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Trucks List”.

Step 2: Click on “Truck Reg No” to view all the details of the trucks, as shown below.

Actions On Trucks

To perform actions on trucks, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the Trucks list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Trucks List”.

Step 2: Click on “Actions” to view all the different actions that can be performed on the Trucks, as shown below.

Step 3: Select an option from the dropdown as shown below.
