Introduction/Purpose

The primary purpose of the Terminal Setting module is to provide a centralized platform for administrators and authorized personnel to set up and customize parameters specific to each terminal within the petroleum management system. By configuring terminal settings, the module enhances operational efficiency, safety, and monitoring capabilities at these critical facilities. Terminal settings are the settings which are used to control the terminal specific default configurations / settings.

Dependencies

1. Terminal Settings Database: The module relies on a database containing information about terminal settings
2. Terminal Equipment Configuration: Dependencies on the terminal equipment configuration ensure that the settings are properly aligned with the equipment installed at each terminal. This includes pumps, meters, and other devices used for product handling.

All Terminal Settings List

There are two ways to open or view all the terminal related settings for every terminal, as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “Terminal Settings” under the “Configuration” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “Terminal Settings” from the site map under the “Configuration” module as shown below.

Terminal Setting Details

To view setting details, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the All Terminal Settings screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “All Terminal Settings”.

Step 2: To View the details, click on the “Label” of settings from the list, as shown below.

Update A Terminal Settings

To update settings , follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open a Terminal Settings Details screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Terminal Setting Details”.

Step 2: Click on the “Edit” button as shown below.

Step 3: Change the value as required. Click on “Update” to update the settings

Terminal list

To View the list of all the settings of a terminal, follow the below steps.

All the terminals will be displayed on the terminal list screen.

There are two ways to view the terminal list with the information of the operated company, owned company, and location, as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “Terminals” from the menu under the “Assets” module as shown below.

2. Click on the “Terminals” from the site map under the “Assets” module as shown below.

Terminal Details

To View the terminal details of the terminal, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the terminal list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Terminal List” under “Terminals”. 

Step 2: Click on “Location Name” to view the terminal details as shown below.

Terminal Settings List

Step 1: To view the terminal details, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Terminal Details”.

Step 2: Click on “Terminal Settings” to view the list of all setting elements of the terminal, as shown below.

Update A Setting

To update the settings of different elements of a terminal, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the  terminal settings list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Terminal Setting Options List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Edit” of a label to view and update the setting, as shown below.

Step 3: Update/Set the value as required. Click on the “Update” button to update the User successfully.
