Introduction/Purpose

The “Tank Farm” module, which acts as an essential distribution and storage center for various hydrocarbons, is a key part of this system. This system is made up of a collection of massive storage tanks and related facilities that are intended to efficiently store, handle, and distribute these priceless resources. The main objective of the Tank Farm module is to offer a safe, organized, and controlled setting for the handling and management of hydrocarbons at various points along the supply chain.

Dependencies

  1. Tank Farm Data Accuracy: 

The actual Tank Farm’s data depends on the accurate recording of the Capacity, Throughput Rate, Demurrage Rate etc.

  1. Site:

The accuracy of tank farm data relies on the data of the site where the tank farm is on operation .

  1. Logistics & Dispatch System:

The Tank Farm’s dependence on effective dispatch and logistics systems are essential. These systems organize the loading and unloading of hydrocarbon products, plan the delivery of those items to different distribution centers, and plan the most efficient routes for those deliveries.

  1. Tank Farm List

All the tank farms will be displayed on the tank farm list screen.

There are two ways to view the tank farm list with the image of the tank farm, the information of the owner company and operator company, as mentioned below.

  1. Click on the “Tank Farm” from the menu under the “Assets” module as shown below.
  1. Click on the “Tank Farm” from the site map under the “Assets” module as shown below.

Add Tank Farm

To add a tank  farm, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To view the tank farm list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Tank Farm List”.

Step 2: Click on “Add Asset” to add a tank farm, as shown below.

Step 3: Search and Select the site, asset owner, asset operator and fill the other mandatory fields (marked as * ) for the tank farm, as shown below.

Step 4: To save the tank farm click on ”Save”, as shown below.

To view details of a tank  farm, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To view the tank firm list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Tank Farm List”.

Step 2: Click on “Asset Name” to view the details of a tank farm, as shown below.

  1. Update Tank Farm

To update a tank farm, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To view the tank  farm details, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Tank Farm Details”.

Step 2: Update the required details and click on the “Update” button to update the tank.
