Introduction/Purpose

Optimizing inventory management and ensuring the secure and dependable transfer of various hydrocarbons from one supplier to another are the main goals of the “In Tank Transfer” module. Through the facilitation of safe and legal inter-company transfers, this module improves collaboration and effectiveness in the oil and gas sector. This module promotes confidence and transparency among businesses involved in the exchange of hydrocarbon products by combining contractual commitments, upholding rules, and giving real-time data. In the end, it helps to improve business processes, inventory management, and relationships within the oil and gas industry.

Dependencies

1. System Performance: System should respond properly to retrieve data from the databases, process data accurately and save data properly to the databases. 
2. Databases: The in tank transfer depends on the accurate data of several databases like terminal, company, product stock etc.
3. Product Quantity: The in tank transfer depends on the available stock of products.

Process Flow Model

Tank Transfer List

All the in tank transfers will be displayed on the tank transfer list screen.

There are two ways to view the “ Tank Transfer ” list with the information of From Company, To Company, Terminal Name, Product, Transaction Type, Quantity, Sale Price of conversion as mentioned below.

1. Click on the “In Tank Transfer” under the “Stock” module under the Hamburger menu as shown below.

Step 1: Click on the “Hamburger” menu.

Step 2: Mouse Over on “Stock”.

Step 3:  Click on “In Tank Transfer”.

2. Click on the “In Tank Transfer” from the site map under the “Stock” module as shown below.

Change View Of Tank Transfer List

To change the view option of the tank transfer list , follow the mentioned steps.

Step 1: To view the tank transfer list, follow the steps mentioned in the  section “Tank Transfer List”.

Step 2: Click on “Change View” as shown below.

Step 3: Change the view option by clicking on any available options, as shown below.

Add  New In Tank Transfer

To add an in tank transfer, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the tank transfer list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Tank Transfer List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Add New” button as shown below.

Step 3: Fill all the mandatory fields (marked with *) in the “Add In Tank Transfer Form” as described and shown below.

1. Terminal Name – Select a terminal from the terminal list of terminals under From Company.
2. Product – Select a product from the list of available products on the selected terminal.
3. To Company – Search and select a company
4. Transaction Type – Select a transaction type between “Swap” and “Sale”.
5. Quantity – Enter quantity of tank transfer.
6. Sale Price – Enter the selling price per liter of the selected product.

Step 4: Click on “Save” to save the tank transfer process, as shown below.

In tank Transfer Details

To view the details of an in tank transfer, follow the below steps.

Step 1: To open the tank transfer list screen, follow the steps mentioned in the section “Tank Transfer List”.

Step 2: Click on the “Tank Transfer Code” as shown below.
