Vehicle Type
Introduction/Purpose
The Vehicle Type module is a fundamental aspect of the business management system, dedicated to categorizing vehicles based on their configuration. The primary purpose of the Vehicle Type module is to facilitate efficient organization and categorization of vehicles within the system.
How to Navigate:
The navigation to the vehicle type module in smart station are as follows:
- Click on the menu and corporate tab, which is located at the left side of the screen, and then click on the vehicle type section. After clicking on this, user can navigate to the vehicle type listing page.
Listing:
The Vehicle Type module allows users to add and view vehicle types in the system. The key feature of vehicle type module listing are as follows:
- Advance Search
This option allows user to filter data with single or Multiple criteria in Column Name with options like:- Equal
- Not Equal
- Begins
- Does Not Begin with
- Ends With
- Does Not End with
- Contains
- Does Not Contain
- Show all listing records
This option allows the user to clear all Filters and display all records on the Listing page. - Hide/Show Columns
This option allows users to customize columns by adding/removing columns to display from the Listing page.- In this option user have to select column which they want to view in the list , if the user uncheck/unselect all column then system will give error message that “Please check at least one column”
- The user can view following action in this section
- Ok :- On clicking the “Ok” button, the user can submit the checked option, and based on the selection, the column will display to the user in the list.
- Cancel :- On clicking this button the user can cancel the check column.
- Export Data
Selected records, current page records, or all records can be exported by users with listed columns or all columns to a spreadsheet or other file format for further analysis or reporting. - Record Filter
Filter option allows users to filter the list of records based on visible column. - Record Filter
The change view option allows users view location expense master list as mentioned below:- Table View
- List View
Recording and Updates:
The user can add a new vehicle type record by clicking on the “Add Vehicle Type” button and by entering the below fields
- Vehicle Type Name: Users input the name of the vehicle type, providing a clear and identifiable label for categorizing vehicles within the system.
- Vehicle Type Code: Users assign a unique code to each vehicle type, facilitating efficient identification and referencing within the system.
- Status: Users indicate the status of the vehicle type, typically represented by options such as “Active” or “Inactive.”
This option allows the user to perform the following action in this section.
- Submit : Allows the user to submit the vehicle type record.
- Discard: Allows the user to discard the vehicle type record.
