The ROCKEYE – Production Management orchestrates a meticulously designed sequence of operations, seamlessly guiding the entire process from production order inception to its ultimate fulfillment. It all begins when the company/production admin receives an order from the customer, which then undergoes the production phase. This system offers functionalities for the preparation of the order, splitting the order into batches, raising material requests, actual human-machine collaborative production of batches, and eventually fulfilling the customer order, providing the company/production admin with heightened control over the production of items aligned with the associated functions adeptly.
Upon order confirmation, the admin proceeds to prepare for the production of the items through processes and process templating. Leveraging a thoughtful and precise preparation of the Bill of Materials (hereafter BOM), defining the overall quantity of the raw material and production cost. This ensures the systematic, documented, and dynamic approach of various production methodologies, paving the way for the personnel involved in the production environment to execute operational procedures in collaboration with the equipment(s), ultimately leading to the release of a batch of produced items (finished goods).
During the production, upon the delivery of the raw materials, the personnel are empowered to run the production batch, followed by referring to the defined quantity of entry materials and exit materials and referring to instructions for the respective production item. Meticulously track the progress of the production batch, record start and end times, and display lucid graphs. As the production journey progresses to the predefined processes, the system allows to add the consumption logs and production logs of the raw materials and finished items, respectively. Once the production was completed, the finished items were released and moved to the warehouse locations through production outbound requests mentioning the vehicle and driver details. . These outbound requests can be tracked within RockEye – Production Management, allowing control and real-time monitoring for the company and production administration.
System Workflows
This section provides a detailed exploration of the system workflows, offering a comprehensive understanding of the orchestrated processes that drive the seamless functioning of our system. Workflows serve as the backbone of our system architecture, delineating the step-by-step execution of tasks and the interdependencies among various components. The following workflows encapsulate the key stages and interactions within our system, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Process Template
The below Figure 2 depicts the warehouse management of the ROCKEYE – Production Management.
Figure 2
- Process Creation
- The individual Process used in the production of Item are created
- Required Vital information like Process name, Process Code, Image, Description, Instruction Attachments, and status details.
- It has an option to bulk upload the Processes.
- Process Template Creation
- Enable Process Template creation for various types: Plants, and the production of items.
- This can be utilized across various Plant locations to manufacture the similar items.
- Require manual input of the necessary information w.r.t. the Process template like, Name, Code, Company, Process execution type (i: Flexible, ii: Strict), Description. Define process order, set dependency on the other process to create a complete template.
- Process templates will be utilized in BOM to define the precise raw materials quantity required at every stage of the production process.
- All activities are meticulously tracked and recorded, including timestamps and the responsible user. Each activity is easily accessible for review, providing insights into the process, its completion time, and the user who executed it.
- Notes Section to keep track of internal notes and reminders for the requests.
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
Figure 4 below depicts the Stock In-Bound management of the ROCKEYE – Production Management.
Figure 3
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- The BOM is a comprehensive preparatory step. Here production personnel can digitize with this module of the solution.
- This provides for details of the unit level of quantities & cost of raw materials with respect to the defined order of the processes as per the Process Template.
- Add New BOM
- Required Vital information like BOM Name, Reference Number, Item to be produced, Process Template, Supporting Attachments and Remarks.
- Item can be retrieved from the Production Planning system and the synced Inventory system (if need be)
- Process template list will populate to select the required template out of the various templates created across the Plants.
- Provide the details of the required quantities of the entry/exit of the raw material with respect to the process(es) to finalize it.
- All activities are meticulously tracked and recorded, including timestamps and the responsible user. Each activity is easily accessible for review, providing insights into the process, its completion time, and the user who executed it.
- Notes Section to keep track of internal notes and reminders for the requests.
- Material Request
Below Figure 5 depicts the Stock Out-Bound of the ROCKEYE – Production Management as per the roles.
Figure 4
- Material Request
- Material request allows admin to raise raw material requests specific to the quantity required to produce a particular Production Batch.
- Allow to view the summary of the requested materials details, number of items, delivery details, catering Warehouse details.
- Add Material Request
- Require vital information like, material requesting plant, catering warehouse, customer company, Supporting documents attachment and remarks.
- Add multiple materials in the line items. Production personnel can add as many as materials required for the production and can delete the material as well.
- Upon submission of the request the request falls into the synced Inventory System in order to fulfill the request.
- All activities are meticulously tracked and recorded, including timestamps and the responsible user. Each activity is easily accessible for review, providing insights into the process, its completion time, and the user who executed it.
- Notes Section to keep track of internal notes and reminders for the requests.
