Purpose:

The purpose of the Plant Storage Location module is to enable organizations to effectively manage and track the storage facilities within each plant. It provides clear visibility of all storage locations, such as godowns or warehouses, helping ensure efficient use of space, better inventory organization, and streamlined logistics. 

Navigation Path:

Warehouse > Plant management > Plant Storage Location

Listing Screen:

Listing screen provides an overview of all the storage locations assigned to various plants. It typically displays key information in a structured table format to help users quickly identify and manage these storage areas. On clicking on the storage name the user can view the details of the storage location.

For Editing the details the user can click on the edit button to change the details.

Add Plant Storage Location:

The Add Plant Storage Location screen allows users to create and define new storage locations for a particular plant. By adding precise details shown below

Plant (Required):- This field allows users to select the plant where the storage location is assigned. 

Location (Required):- This field is used to enter or select the name of the storage location.

Code (Required):- The unique identifier or code assigned to the storage location. 

Set Default (Required):- choose from the dropdown that allows users to set the storage location as the default for the selected plant.

Status (Required):- Indicates whether the storage location is active or inactive.
