Sentiment Master

Introduction/Purpose

The purpose of the Sentiment Master in the performance management system is to capture and manage different sentiment categories that reflect the overall emotional tone and perception of employees during performance evaluations or feedback sessions. This includes tracking the positive, neutral, or negative sentiments expressed by employees or managers, providing insights into employee morale, engagement, and overall satisfaction.

How To Navigate

The navigation to record a Sentiment Master in a performance system typically involves the following steps:

  • Click on the main navigation icon: The main navigation icon may be located in the top right corner of the screen. Clicking on this icon will open the navigation menu, which typically includes links to various sections of the performance system.
  • Click on the Employees section: The Engagement section located under the Right section of the screen clicking on this section will display a list of employee performance related transactions.
  • Click on the Sentiment Master : Click on the Sentiment Master section which is located under the Engagement section will redirected to the Sentiment Master listing page

Listing Screen

In the Sentiment Master Listing Screen, users can view a comprehensive list of all sentiment categories that have been predefined and added to the system. This screen allows users to easily browse, filter, and manage the various sentiment types such as positive, neutral, or negative sentiments. E

Recording & Updates

The user will be able to add or update the Sentiment by entering the following information:

  • Sentiment Name: Captures the name or label of the sentiment, such as “Positive,” “Neutral,” or “Negative.” Example: “Happy,” “Sad,” “Satisfied.”
  • Emoji Code: Captures the emoji representation for the sentiment, which will visually convey the sentiment type. Example: “🙂” for positive, “😐” for neutral, “🙁” for negative.
  • Color Code: Captures the color associated with the sentiment for visual distinction in reports or dashboards. Example: Green for positive, Yellow for neutral, Red for negative.

The user can perform the following actions in this section:

  • Submit: This option allows the user to publish the transaction information. If the system has an approval flow, the maker will submit the information, and it will be sent to the approval authority or checker for approval.
  • Discard: This option allows the user to discard the transaction before saving it.
