Entity Module Mapping
Purpose
This document serves as a crucial component within the comprehensive framework of the Complete Solution Guide: ROCKEYE – Performance Management System. It presents a detailed user activity diagram specifically for performance management within the ROCKEYE system. The aim is to visually depict and clarify the various user interactions and workflows involved in managing employee performance effectively. The diagram highlights the flow of activities, user roles, and system functionalities related to performance reviews, goal setting, and appraisals, providing a clear understanding of how users engage with the system to drive organizational performance.
- Clarity in User Interactions: The document illustrates the step-by-step processes users follow when creating review cycles, setting goals, conducting self and peer reviews, and submitting appraisals. It provides a visual map of actions, enabling users to comprehend the sequence and dependencies of tasks within performance management.
- Identification of User Roles: Distinct user roles such as Company Admin, HR Business Partner, Line Manager, Employee, and Reviewer are defined, with clear associations to their specific responsibilities and actions within the performance management module.
- Highlight System Features: The diagram showcases key functionalities including review cycle creation, reviewer configurations, goal management, appraisal submission, progress tracking, and reporting. It also emphasizes features like multi-level reviews (self, upward, peer), timeline management, and data verification.
- Enhance User Training: It includes pathways for handling exceptions, such as incomplete reviews or data discrepancies, and outlines error-handling protocols. This helps users navigate challenges efficiently and ensures a smooth performance management process.

HR Manager
Role: HR Manager responsible for overseeing and managing the entire performance management lifecycle within the Performance Management System
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Key Result Areas (KRA) to align employee performance with organizational goals.
- Create, configure, and launch review cycles including reviewer selection and review settings.
- Define goal timelines, measurement criteria, and assign goals to individuals or teams.
- Oversee appraisal management by initiating appraisal cycles and ensuring completion of self and upward reviews.
- Monitor and update goal progress, and manage one-to-one meeting schedules related to performance.
- Generate and analyze performance reports to drive continuous improvement and employee development.

Employee

Responsibilities:
- Access the dashboard to view personal performance and related updates.
- Manage and track individual goals through the Goal Management module.
- Participate actively in performance appraisals by filling out self and upward reviews.
- Engage in one-to-one meetings with managers for feedback, coaching, and development discussions.
