Purpose 

The purpose of this feature is to allow users to import and manage bulk opening stock of warehouse data efficiently by uploading a structured file that includes details such as Item Short Name, Item Cost, Quantity, Item S/N, Condition, and warranty expiration date. This helps maintain consistency and accuracy in the database by ensuring all necessary fields are correctly filled and conform to the required formats.

Navigation Path

Path: Import > Import Opening Stock

• On clicking on the above the user can upload the Excel sheet and after that, he user can click on the “Next Button”.
• User can click on the Download Sample File button to download the sample file.

1. Item Owner (Required): Specify the name of the item owner.
2. Receiving Warehouse (Required): Specify the name of the receiving warehouse to add the opening stock.

After uploading the file and clicking on the Next Button, all the details will be fetched by the system automatically by the system from the uploaded file.

By clicking on the Import button the user can import the opening stock of a warehouse if all the provided details are valid.
