Introduction/Purpose:

The Training and Development feature aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of individuals within an organization. It involves systematic activities designed to improve employee performance and productivity through learning and professional growth opportunities.

The purpose of training and development is to ensure that users acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively and contribute to the overall success of the organization and also keep records of the training.

My Training:

This filter enables the user to view training specifically requested by themselves. By choosing this option, the user can view their own submitted training requests, and users can filter their expenses requests based on the following categories

  • All: The “All” filter displays all training and development requests that have been published by the HR from the HRMS, regardless of their current status. This includes requests that are in progress, published, completed, on hold, or canceled.
  • In Progress: The “In Progress” filter allows users to view training and development requests that are currently ongoing.
  • Published: The “Published” filter enables users to see training and development requests that have been published and made available to users.
  • Completed: The “Completed” filter displays training and development requests that have been successfully executed. 
  • On Hold: The “On Hold” filter allows users to view training and development requests that are temporarily paused. 
  • Canceled: The “Canceled” filter enables users to see training and development requests that have been canceled.

Add Training Request:

The training requests of an employee self services are typically included:

  • Subject of Training: This field specifies the topic or subject matter of the training. It should be a concise description of the knowledge or skills that the training aims to impart.
  • Training Category: This field categorizes the type of training being requested. It could include options like “technical skills,” “leadership development,” “customer service,” or any other relevant categories that classify the training program.
  • Count of Attendees to Be Benefited: This field indicates the number of individuals who will benefit from the training. It helps in determining the scale or scope of the training request and assists in planning logistics, such as venue selection and resource allocation.
  • Purpose and Reason for Training: This field requires a brief explanation of why the training is needed and what specific goals or outcomes the organization expects to achieve through it.
  • Submit for approval: This option allows the user to submit the request for approval. The user will submit the information, and it will be sent for approval.

Trainer Scheduled:

User can view the trainer schedule for the training.

  • All: The “All” filter displays all training and development requests that have been published by the HR from the HRMS, regardless of their current status. This includes requests that are in progress, published, completed, on hold, or canceled.
  • In Progress: The “In Progress” filter allows users to view training and development requests that are currently ongoing.
  • Completed: The “Completed” filter displays training and development requests that have been successfully executed. 
  • Canceled: The “Canceled” filter enables users to see training and development requests that have been canceled.

Training: This will show the numbers of upcoming training,in progress training and completed training. 

Upcoming Sessions: This will show the list of the upcoming sessions with its details like training name,trainer name,training date,start time,end time,duration,in time and out time.
