Attendance Management
Department
Introduction/Purpose :
The department module in an attendance management system is designed to manage and organize the hierarchical structure of departments and units within an organization. It serves as a central repository for storing information about different departments, units, and their related attributes.
How to Navigate :
The navigation to record the department in the attendance management system typically involves the following steps:

- Click on the main navigation icon, which is located on the top right corner of the screen, and then click on the company section, which is located on the left side menus on the screen.
- Click on the department section, which is located in Masters under the company section. After clicking on this link, you can navigate to the department listing.
Listing

- The department module allows the user to view all the active and inactive admin records. The key features of the department listing is included below
- Department
- Department code
- Tags
- Default shift roster
- Status
- Export Data
- Users can export selected, current page, or all records to spreadsheet formats for reporting.
Recordings and Updates :
The user can add a new record by clicking the Add Department button and by entering the below fields.
Below are the fields that are typically included in the add department form:
- Department : This field specifies the name of the department.
- Department code : This field specifies the department code, which is auto generated with the department name.
- Default shift roster : This field specifies the default shift roster of the department.
- Status : This field specifies the status of the department.
